The latest proposal is for the creation of a health clinic in the former Bottom Dollar Store building.

A Question for South Side Residents

Do want a health clinic or do you want another grocery store at this location?

Good question..Nearest full  grocery store is Sparkle in Cornersburg or Save-a-lot on South Ave.

I find it sad that the Bottom Dollar building was constructed as a grocery story but will not be used as one.

I guess the concerns about the south side food desert are over.

It shouldn't be over. The residents of the SS should still be concerned about not having a full-functional grocery store in the neighborhood
