Land Bank Legislation Passes

Land Bank has passed through the Senate 31-1. The House then affirmed via concurrence vote late this evening. The bill will be signed by Gov. Strickland and will go into effect within 90 days.

The legislation received bipartisan support and received testimonial support from the Ohio Association of Realtors. A number of neighborhood leaders representing neighborhood groups, churches and non-profits from Youngstown & Warren played key roles in conducing two separate legislative visit days in Columbus with key Senate leaders to ensure the legislation was passed. What a great job these folks did. Congrats goes to you.
