Check When Potatoes Are on Sale ??

Bought a bag today for Thanksgiving...looked ok to me....

Have you ever noticed this?

Sometimes 10 pounds of potatoes are on sale for a lower price.

I purchased some recently.  The bag had several oddly shaped potatoes.  They were difficult to peel.

Another time, most of the potatoes in the bag were sprouting.

I was in a grocery store a few weeks ago.  A woman shopper was examining each bag of potatoes.  She claimed most bags had damaged or rotting potato inside.
