There is a shortage of rice in some parts of the country.  Several stores are limiting the amount of rice one person is able to purchase.

Many of my friends and neighbors have lost their jobs.  I am expanding my vegetable garden this year and plan to share the crop with my friends.


A few days ago I saw a man pay for gasoline with a roll of nickles.

In the news comes a warning that with increasing food prices and shortages, Americans are being warned to stock up on as much food as they can possably do.

Are you making an effort to stockpile food in your pantry?

For my part, this is a long standing pratice, and I make a point of stocking up on can goods and dry foods (Hamburger Helper, etc).
