Many at the meeting felt that the majority of the crime are committed by youth and teenagers.  Some children are committing acts of vandalism and throwing rocks at homes and cars.  Teens are involved in more serious criminal acts.

One south side resident claimed that the number of criminals are overwhelming the city's ability to deal with the problem.
