I think that what Steve had in mind were pictures of the Paramount in its glory days, especially interior shots.

George,

A couple of the links below are broken/dead links

One site has nothing in the way of photos

A couple of the sites are for Youngstown, NY - not Youngstown, OH

Thank you for the information George. I already have 15 books on the history of the Mahoning Valley not including the 10 volume history I edited and 1000 photographs  most of which are up on my WebShots site, but I'm always open to even more authoritative information.

Google Books has many books available to download on the history of Youngstown and the Western Reserve including the Sanderson book, the J.G. Butler and the Historical Collections of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society book for free.

These research-based web-resources, will definitely take you back away to the old memories of Youngs Town, and give you all the best archive of the historical attractions of Youngs Town, which will definitely recall your reminiscence about this great destination for sure.

I've been looking for some myself while it was in operation, but all I could find were more recent pictures of its decay.

On my Webshots site I do have a few but none of it in its interior glory days. Sorry

Towntalk

Thank you. Please feel free to save any or all.

Shirley

Thank you for posting the pictures. I loved them! Saw the pictures of the old St. Joseph's school and church. Brings back some good memories. I really wish I would have seen the inside of the old St. Columba church. If you had a book I would buy it!

Thanks,
Shirley
