Question on Foreign Affairs

If elected to Congress, you would have to make many serious decisions regarding legislation dealing with foreign relations in an era where America's very future will be impacted.

We are at war on two fronts ... Iraq and Afghanistan ... the Middle East is a tinderbox ready to explode ... Russia is becoming more aggressive, and threatening to drag those countries that were liberated after the fall of the old Soviet Union back under its domination ... China has America over an economic barrel ... there is the matter of Iran ... Pakistan is teetering on a fundamentalist revolution that could see the Talaban and Al Quida get their hands on nuclear weapons ... and finally there is the matter of Israel.

While as a Freshmen Congressman not affiliated with the Democratic or Republican Parties you would not be on any of the committees concerning foreign relations, you would still have to cast a vote on pertinent legislation, and you certainly would be judged by how you cast your vote
