Lets hope that they have better success than they did the last time, but you can take it to the bank that the city will do everything in its power to keep that from happening. They will have the city Law Department scan every single petition with the most powerful electron microscope they can get their hands on, so the folks getting the signatures had better be sure to get three times as many as they actually need and make absolutely sure that a name appears on only one of the petitions.
And make sure that everyone signing the petitions actually lives in the city.

Here is the VINDICATOR editorial, and it is right on target, but the crew in city council will simply IGNORE it and go right on with their game. They're all as worthless as udders on a bull ... NO EXCEPTIONS.

Without a residency rule, many city employees fled the city like rats fleeing a sinking ship.

If they won't live with us, they shouldn't work for us.

Read the editorial in the Sunday, July 7 issue of the newspaper.  City Council is faulted for not tackling the real problems of the community.
