Title: Food prices and Parking?
Post by: Micky on March 01, 2007, 09:32:17 PM
Council thinks food prices and parking for those who purchased luxury suites and club seats are the most pressing issues?  Give us a break!  They knew from the get go that parking was going to be limited in order to  get people to patronize the downtown establishments after the Centre's events.

And Councilman Atkinson said he almost went broke when he took some kids he's mentoring due to food prices.  Did he sit in Council's luxury suite and have to pay Boston Culinary for the food they ate?

He complained about paying for food but we haven't heard him complain about spending taxpayer dollars to take trips out of town for conferences in Washington D.C. and anyplace else he and other council members have been to and got fed on our dime.

Micky, say what you want. But concession prices are outrageous. They are nearing the prices of Jacobs Field and PNC Park, and thats an absolute joke.

Global has FAILED Running the arena, and the city is finally taking note. FIRE GLOBAL NOW.

We all agree that the food prices are too high.  Maybe Global does need to go but then so do the Councilmen for allowing sweetheart deals with Global from its inception. Where are the contracts signed with Global for food vendors?  We need to see who, what, and when these deals were worked out.
