Students Blocking South Avenue Traffic

They don't just block Indianola at South but the entire stretch from Boston down to Wilber along South. Dozens of kids walking in the street, along the street, crossing the street in front of cars, congregating in groups on the road and socializing with the girls. When school lets out they are all over the place. They strut across the street anywhere they want at their own pace regardless of whether or not a vehicle is coming. I'm surprised more kids aren't getting hit by cars.

One of the callers to a talk radio show today indicated that students often block the flow of traffic on South Avenue at East Indianola at about 3:00 p.m. on school days.  Has anyone seen this?
