West Side Better Block - Sasturday, September 26

That's in the 6th Ward, but the restauirants in the 7th are doing quite well thank you ever so much. How many in the 4th and 5th have live bands? We have 3 here in the 7th.

I attended the West Side Better Block.  I dined at Casa Ramirez Mexican Restaurant and purchased a T-shirt from one of the vendors.

In my opinion, the event was too spread out.  Most of the activities were confined to the two blocks just east of Steel Street.  Those activities closer to the Mahoning Avenue bridge were not as well attended.

It's nice to see that the West Side is taking a page out of the 7th Wards book for a change.

A crew of men and women were busy today pulling weeds and sweeping the area along Mahoning Avenue where the Better Block will take place on Saturday.
