I ... the most wonderful person you will ever have the privelage of knowing ... save my plastic grocery bags and when I get enough, I ... wonderful me ... takes them back to the store and deposit them in the bin that was created as a recycleing center ... when the bin is full, the store sells the contents to a company that melts them down and makes new bags. Now that is proof positive that I ... noble and proud as I am ... care about the environment.

I agree with the bottle and can deposit.  Where I live here in MD, there is a 5 cent deposit
on plastic grocery bags, also (it's refundable).  It does help to discourage littering.
