An Invitation to Creating Democracy

When: Wed, February 24, 6pm – 10pm

Where: 1315 Churchill - Hubbard Rd, Liberty Township, Ohio

Description: A Participatory Workshop on How to Change Laws and Assert Citizen Authority and Power.

This workshop looks at the history and current status of the relationship between citizens and corporations in our claimed "democracy." It examines how the entity that is known as the business corporation, a legal creation of the state, attained legal and constitutional rights shielding them from democratic citizen control. We seek to unearth what has for too long been buried - and to use it as we seek authentic self-governance in our communities and country.
