John G. Scheible (1866 – 1897) Scheible's obituary in The Youngstown Telegram says that he was employed at a local flour mill before he began playing ball with minor league teams affiliated with the Tri-State League, Iron & Oil League, and New England League.
In the early 1890s, he broke into the National League.

Nope.

This man was born and raised in Youngstown and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.

By the way John, you've seen a picture of a man with the same last name every time you entered City Hall.  :)
