Elementry my friend, elementry.

The "wildcaters" of today are not like the wildcaters that ushered in the oil industry of the 1880's. Technology has advanced a hundred fold and requires highly trained employes with college degrees. Hence specific college courses which will translate in higher paychecks.

As to the "pointy nosed prof's" ... every college and university has teachers that fly against the wind of progress even when it means opposing many of the courses that the school that puts bread on their table is teaching, and YSU is no exception.

These students obviously don't see things the way that certain teachers at YSU see it and they are going in the right direction by educating their fellow students about the shale industry, and not parading around protesting and demonstrating like setting up tent cities, and waving signs.

I'm as sure as I can be that there will be some pointy nosed prof's at YSU that won't take too well to this.
