A Cookie Walk is scheduled for December 12, 2009, 10:00 to 1:00 at Richard Brown Memorial United Methodist Church, 1205 Elm Street. There will be over 20 varieties of fresh-baked homemade holiday cookies available. Visitors may choose a selection of cookies and weigh them out at $4.50 per pound, or they may buy prepackaged cookies at a set price.
There will be classic cookies such as chocolate chip, peanut butter and brownies, as well as seasonal favorites such as clothespin, church windows, and frosted sugar cookies.
The Walk is sponsored by the church trustees and proceeds will be used for improvements to the church.
