Title: Japanese Beetles
Post by: jay on July 03, 2008, 05:18:21 AM
Is anyone else having a problem with Japanese Beetles this year?  Hundreds of them have invaded my yard over the last few days.

I have them also. What can be done to get rid of them?

I don't know if I have a Japanese Beetle problem, I don't pay close enough attention.

I think you could order some ladybugs, though.  I think they would prey on the grubs.

Here's a page about Japanese Beeltes and some other things you can do:

Garden stores sell Japanese Beetle traps.  These devices work well.

Below is a picture of one style of trap.
