The donut shop is stilled closed.

Not open.  Several pieces of mail are on the floor inside.

The cause was sticky fingers.

The donut shop was still closed today.

The last time I was in the donut shop two middle-aged women and one much younger woman were working there.  All three were very pleasant.

"Revs up staffing" sounds like a modern politically correct way of saying "cracks the whip"  but I bet it really means "finds someone able and willing to actually do some work".

A sign on the door states the donut shop will be closed until it revs up staffing.

What is "a while" and why is it not currently open?
