The Ohio legislature wants to ban traffic cameras in the State of Ohio.

I'm not a fan of traffic cameras but this is just another example of the State of Ohio taking away local control of a city's right to determine its own laws.

Other examples
State of Ohio removing all local zoning for oil and gas exploration.
also
State of Ohio interfering with a city's local residency rules for its employees.

So when school is out for the summer, will the cameras be reprogrammed to catch anyone exceeding the normal speed limit for a given street?

Haha--That's funny Jay-----But serious hope the camera's work have been on some of the streets by the schools -doing neighborhood cleanups and its a joke how these people speed through-with no regard to others..I have said numerous times that we should have speed bumps near the school's if we can't get speed bumps lets do the camera's...
