Does anyone know if the water from the spring on Parnell is safe to drink?
Does anyone know the history of this spring?
Was the spring ever a drinking water source for early residents of Lansingville?
We drank from it when I lived there in the fifties.
If this is the same spring I remember it was an artesion well fed. So it is cleaned by natural filtering.
I used to work with my uncles tree service and when we were in the area we would stop to get a nice cold drink from a small pump fountain that was there.
Can anyone still just come up and get a drink?
