The Food Police are at it again ... now they're after chocolate.

Depressed? You must like chocolate

Men and women who eat more of the sweets are also likely to be depressed, researchers find.

That was the whole point Rick ... no blame fool would ingest that much sugar per day.

I like sweets as much as the next person but I don't have a grain of sugar in the house. Personally I don't eat cerial, and don't use sugar in my coffee, but those are choices I made, not what some strange tells me to do.

As to the meat part, I added that because the vegatarians would like nothing better than for the government to put meat in the same catagory as tobacco.

Rick Rowlands

According to the article eating food increases cancer risk, but not eating food causes death. Eating well done food increases cancer risk, but eating rare meat increases food poisoning risk.

Where did you get that quote in your post, that wasn't from the linked article.  I want to see what moron actually did that study!  What was the point?  Do you know how much sugar is in 46 TEASPOONS?  Who eats 46 teaspoons of sugar every day?

Science has become such a waste of time and money any more, creating garbage such as these studies.

Now it's the Sugar Police sticking their noses into your pantry.

Trash that doughnut ... throw out that ice cream ... get rid of that cakes or cookies or pies ... no more candy  the sugar police are coming.

First it's salt and now its sugar ... what's next on the list? Meat?

You think I'm kidding?

"Put that lollipop, cupcake, or chocolate-covered whatever down! I have some bad news for those of you born with a major sweet tooth. Aside from the fact that eating too much sugar leads to bigger sized jeans and more trips to the dentist, here's another con to add to the list associated with eating sugar — an increased risk of heart disease. A recent study found that those who ate an average of 46 teaspoons of added sugar each day suffered from higher risk factors that cause heart disease such as higher triglycerides and lower levels of HDL (good) cholesterol."

And for goodness sake toss out that meat in your freezer.
