Perhaps because she was still IN JAIL ??  Oh, wait... the article didn't say whether she was
out on bail, awaiting a trial, etc...  I hate it when these news articles are missing info
like this.

Did they actually FIND stolen clothing on her person?  If the investigation is not an
ongoing one, then the police could have released the information... OH WAIT - they
didn't say anything about THAT in the article, either.

DID SHE OR DIDN'T SHE SHOPLIFT ITEMS FROM THE STORE AND HOW DO WE KNOW THAT THE PICTURE THAT GOES WITH THE STORY IS OF THE WOMAN SHOPLIFTER. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THE WAY THAT REPORTERS RELATE CRIME STORIES TO US. EVEN AFTER A PERSON IS FOUND GUILTY AND SENT TO PRISON, THESE REPORTERS REFUSE TO JUST REPORT THAT THE PERSON WAS FOUND GUILTY BUT STLL USES "ALLEGED".
