North Side Festival Of Lights - Monday, December 20

In the spirit of the holiday season, 3rd Ward City Councilman Jamael Tito Brown, along with various block watch and community leaders will be hosting the 2nd annual "Festival of Lights and Holiday Decorations Tour" on the North Side of Youngstown on Monday, December 20, 2010.  Tour times will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (90 minutes each tour). The tour will begin and end at Avalon Gardens 1719 Belmont Avenue.

Councilman Brown explains that the success of last year's tour prompted the need to add an additional tour time to accommodate those who want to participate. The main goal of the tour is to display the beautiful homes and holiday spirit of the citizens of this community. The tour is just another way to showcase the talent and creativity of those who live and work on the greater North Side of Youngstown.

Brown encourages everyone to call 330-747-3592 to secure a seat on the bus (seating is limited) and /or to register their home to be showcased and placed on the tour route.
