Why?Town

Random Politician #1: "What can we do to get people to feel good about us?"

Random Politician #2: "Maybe we should do something to make people think we care about them."

Random Politician #1: "How the H3LL do we do that?"

Random Politician #3: "I know, we can have a public session next week where we listen to them."

Random Politician #1: "Are you serious? I'm on vacation next week!"

Random Politician #4: "Don't worry about that, we're a group, we don't all need to be there. Oh, and where are WE going on vacation this time?"

Random Politician #2: "Wherever you two go, have a good time. I'll get some others and we'll schmooze the voters up to the point they "know" they need us.

Meanwhile, whatever the politicians have been voted in to actually accomplish has been sitting on hold due to lack of money and will stay on the back burner far longer than the rescue plan money lasts. Eventually they'll again tell everyone that they need more taxes to get those "important" back burner things taken care of.
