Hey folks,

It's been a long time in coming to fruition, but I finally managed to get a new
website online.  This past week, I purchased my own domain on the internet,
to be used solely as a non-profit site.  I've always wanted to find a way to
try and give something to Youngstown, now I have that.

What the new site needs more than anything now is YOUR contributions.
NOT money, but CONTENT.  I would love to populate the site with lots
and lots of interesting, educational, historic, and other types of content.

I want to have articles, essays, photos, non-copyrighted audio and video
or audio and video that can be used by permission of the author or publisher.
This goes for books on, or about Youngstown as well.

With so many stories in the media that are putting the city of Youngstown
down, it would be so refreshing to show the world what is being done RIGHT
in Youngstown and the progress that is being [albeit slowly] made to make
her a better place to live.

The best thing about the site is that  I now OWN the physical server hardware
on which it runs - which means that I have the unfettered ability to present
whatever type of content I choose, and the disk space to back it up.

The current server has well over 1.5 TERABYTES of free disk space, so there
is TONS of space available on it.  If, and when, it ever gets full, I will simply
add more.

If you would like to contribute content to the site,  I have configured the
server for limited, public FTP access.  Just shoot me an email for the login
and password and you can upload materials directly to the site.

Please stop in and visit when you have some time.  And WELCOME to the
new site......
