Tickets go on sale today for Easy Street Productions' revival of "Pump Boys and Dinettes" over Mother's Day weekend.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. May 11 and May 12, and 2:30 p.m. May 13, at Ford Family Recital Hall, 260 W. Federal St., downtown.
The ticket price is $29 ($23 for senior citizens and students; $17 for children 12 and under) plus handling fee. Gold Circle seating is available for $35, and group discounts are also available.
Call the box office at 330-744-0264 or go to youngstownsymphony.com.
Chef Jeff Chrystal will offer a buffet on Mother's Day, May 13, in the attached lobby of Powers and Auditorium and Overture restaurant. Reservations are required.
Easy Street first produced "Pump Boys" 30 years ago. The lighthearted musical that takes place at a gas station-diner would go on to run for 200 performances at the former Uptown Theater – a record breaking run of two years.
The 30th anniversary cast will include many of the original members: Maureen Collins, Robyn Bass, Rick Blackson and Todd Hancock. Randy Bass will fill the void left by the death of Jeff Sanders from the original cast.
The show includes a number of original country rock songs.
