When I fix a broken computer for someone, I shut it down, remove all of the
defective parts, replace them with good working parts and then RE-BOOT
the system to ensure that it is working properly again.

This is exactly what needs to be done with the Youngstown board of
education.  Shut it down, let them ALL go, then do a fresh re-boot
after a new batch of competent personnel with proven track records
from previous positions in the education system has been installed to
take their place.

If Mayor McNally is asked to take control, I hope his honor the Mayor
takes this approach to solving the problem.

ALL OF THEM.  This includes the so-called "Academic distress commission"
that cannot get the job done either.

EXACTLY!!!

Then again, the way the Vindy has been reporting lately, I'm not sure if I believe the article or not.

The City school system or what passes for a school system needs a new superintendant ... a full time superintendant, yet they are only seeking one that will be here for six months and have no plans beyond that according to an article in today's newspaper. NO PLANS BEYOND SIX MONTHS? What kind of halfwitted morons do we have running our public school system? MORONS THAT AREN'T FIT TO CLEAN OUT A OUTHOUSE! It's no wonder that our system is in the mess it's in. They all need to be flushed down the toilet of history and the system be turned over to people who are fit to run our schools! Preferably business men and women who will NOT kowtow to the NAACP. Short of that, the state needs to assume FULL control of the city schools, fire the present board and bring in people who will only be answerable to the state board of education, and no one else including the NAACP.
