Towntalk

When I moved to Youngstown with my Mother in 1950, my Grandfather pointed that out with great pride to me. The clock tower lights and the Central Tower lights were a great source of pride for everyone back then.In fact, looking down West Federal Street as well as East Federal was really something with all the signs and store windows lit up at night. It was really beautiful.

There was a walking tour downtown last weekend that I attended.  Someone mentioned that the Home Savings and Loan building used to have neon lights at the top of the tower that would indicate the weather.  Does anyone remember this?
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
