A fight broke out at a home on Hilton Avenue a few hours after the city's latest homicide on Wednesday.

After the crowds started to break up, police responded to 258 Hilton Ave., where they found Victoria Truman, 19, with stab wounds. According to reports, a group of girls approached the porch asking Truman about the murder victim, Dion Weatherspoon, who was found shot to death in the driveway of 246 Hilton Ave. just before noon.

The girls then jumped and stabbed her. Truman allegedly dated Weatherspoon in the past.

Police saw the stabbing suspect, Sydney Fields, 17, walking down Hilton. The officers said she threw several punches at them, and they had to use their Tasers on her to take her into custody.

They are still investigating the fight.

A man identified as Dion Weatherspoon, was found shot to death in the 200 block of Hilton Avenue on the city's South Side late this morning.


When police arrived, they found Dion Weatherspoon, 24, lying in the driveway. According to police records, Weatherspoon has listed addresses on Hilton Avenue and East Philadelphia Avenue.

According to court records, Weatherspoon was found not guilty of a murder charge in 2009 for the 2007 shooting death of William Burr, who was found outside Angelo's Pizza Shop on South Avenue.
