Strand Theatre

In 1937 the entrance and lobby of the Strand was enlarged and new signage was added, the theatre took over the space that was occupied by the P&O Bus Company making for the enlargement and a new entrance was created, but in later years this new entrance would be closed when the Tod Hotel added additions to their building and a Drug Store took the area where the new theatre entrance had been also eleminating the theatre foyer area.
