With the Mahoning Valley's strong background in manufacturing it's a shame to
see that one has been able to start a venture in renewable energy manufacturing
in Youngstown, or the valley in general.

Youngstown State University's engineering and science departments are of
outstanding calibre...they could be a critical asset in developing this type
manufacturing here in the valley.  The Small Business Incubator and the new
WIlliamson Business School could probably help in setting up the coporate part
of such a venture with sound, educated and competent management through
their MBA program.

Youngstown could use some more of the mill brownfields to build a plant
for such a venture.  Something close to the remaining rail lines along the
river.

Now just one more idea - bring GM and the Lordstown plant into the mix
in order to use their expertise in desiging and implementing the assembly
line(s) and the manufacturing process - From A to Z.

President Obama and the Congress set aside billions for the development of new
energy stuff, solar, wind, biofuels, etc..

Just my thoughts and maybe a pipe dream...
