Ohio' endorsers of THE DRIVE FOR DECENT WORK.

These six Ohio organizations have endorsed THE DRIVE FOR DECENT WORK.

STOP Targeting Ohio's Poor  / Cleveland
Miami Valley Full Employment Council   / Dayton
The Advocacy/Education Committee of the Community Action Partnership
of the Greater Dayton Area
The Community Organizing Center  /  Columbus
Statewide:
Organize! Ohio
The Green Party of Ohio

The National Jobs For All Coalition, a loose coalition of activists and
educators (www.njfac.org) has come up with an unique approach to the
jobs issue.   Instead of focusing on one jobs bill we have decided to
build a campaign, THE DRIVE FOR DECENT WORK around a group of bills that
do a wide range of things to improve our society and at the same create
millions of needed jobs.

The bills correct the US under-investment in vital human and physical
resources and create millions of decent jobs. Legislation includes the
National Affordable Housing Trust Fund Act, Bringing America Home Act
(HR 4347), Elementary and Secondary Education Act, a legislative proposal
to hire 100,000 new teachers, proposals on renewable energy, youth
employment, a Living Wage Jobs for All Act (HR 1050), and proposals for
improving transportation and the environment. For the complete list,
please consult THE DRIVE FOR DECENT WORK at
http://www.njfac.org/sharedpros.htm

We are seeking endorsements from both organizations and individuals for
the THE DRIVE FOR DECENT WORK.
