Bike Belmont
Sunday, May 21
2 - 4:00 p.m.
From Charlie Staples to the Liberty Giant Eagle
I won't mention sidewalks because bikes belong on the road but I do have questions regarding this event.
Does Belmont Ave. have two lanes in each direction?
What is the condition of the Belmont Ave. street surface?
Has the street sweeper been there to remove salt, gravel, and maybe cans and broken bottles that have accumulated over winter?
Is this supposed to be a group ride, as in all riding at the same time?
Does it start at Charley Staples and end at Liberty Giant Eagle or does it end back at Charley Staples?
And most importantly, Is Charley Staples open for sit down service? The hungry cyclists would love that.
This video news story about Bike Belmont appeared on WFMJ the other morning.
