I've always liked turning on "The Christmas Story" marathon on Christmas Eve, and leaving the TV on overnight.  As I go in and out of deep sleep overnight, I catch different parts of the movie.

Also, as I said in another thread, a tradition I have for myself is putting up outside Christmas lights while they are blowing the old steam-whistles at the B&O.  It makes me think what my neighborhood was like when the whistles were serving their original purpose.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

What family traditions do you have for Christmas that you can share with us?

Listening to "A Christmas Carol" has been one for our family, and here is a link to the classic radio version.

By the way, it's in the public domane so you can legally download and save it.

The classic Campbell Playhouse dramatization of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens narrated by Orson Wells and starring Lionel Barrymore. Original commercials and network/station id included.

Recommend that you use the 64 kbps MP3 link.

Enjoy.
