I will be there.

If you can spot me say hello. Unless The Mrs is having a bad day I'll be there.

Was at the laying of the Roses yesterday, Must have went up to the wall 5 times...A lot of people left before it was over including Veterans... I'm going to start some buzz in the veteran community to see about having it in October or even September...When the weather is better.

My oldest brother served the U.S. Air Force for 23 years...including a bad stint
in Panama when the sh*t hit the fan with Noriega (sp?) .

I remember having to pick his wife and kids up at an Emacs terminal at Andrews
AFB two days before Christmas because the fighting had overrun the base and
the MPs evacuated the families and civilian employees.

We were worried sick that my brother might not make it home, by the grace of God
he did.  He used to have nightmares about what he saw there - a lot of women and
children got caught up in the fighting.

I will never forget what he personally has done for all of us, as well as all the other
men and women past and present.  You all make our American way of life possible
and fight to protect us here at home.

They say that pride is a sin = well,  I'm shamelessly proud of our veterans
and active duty military.

Thank you all

;D

It was a beautiful and poignant ceremony, as always.

At the 11th Hour on the 11th day of the 11th month...

You are all welcome to attend the Veterans Day ceremony at the County courthouse. Sponsored by the Mahoning United Veterans Council.

My post will probably have 6 to 10 people there. Right after the Lowellville Schools Have their First ever Veterans Day Assembly, during which Lou Mamulla (A Tarawa Atoll Survivor) will be the main speaker, and I will be the closing speaker.

I will be there.
