Famed organist is in town to record a CD using the Stambaugh Auditorium E. M. Skinner Pipe Organ. The Stambaugh organ is one of only 4 of this model in the United States. Two others are in Washingdon, D.C. and Cleveland, Ohio.

the stam aud should show silent movies on a regular basis that requires the pipe organ to assist the silent movies.
That would be a swell idea if Stambaugh Auditorium could find corporate sponsors like they and DeYor do for other shows. Perhaps once a month. They do have the equipment to show 35mm films, and in the past they have shown movies including silent films. It would be worth the cost of the tickets just to hear that magnificent organ. We are blessed to be one of just four cities to have this organ here. This organ is the Stradivarius of organs ... the best of the best.
