I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO PREPARE TO FREEZE MY BUTT OFF  :'(

I heard that  mild winter couldn't be farther from the truth. They expect a very harsh winter and heating costs up nationwide could increase 60-100% over last year. Save your pennies!

GOOD QUESTION - MY GAS RATE WENT UP 60% LAST WINTER SO I GOT ELECTRIC HEAT. IT COST ABOUT THE SAME AS THE GAS WOULD HAVE BUT I PREFERRED TO GIVE MY MONEY TO THE ELECTRIC COMPANY. I SAW IN THE NEWS THEY EXPECT RATES TO SOAR AGAIN. HOPEFULLY WE HAVE A MILD WINTER.

Why is that -- we produce natural gas  here in Ohio and it is transported through pipelines.  Their vehicles use natural gas...so why is that?
