Here is a novel site that let's you have a little "say" in how our government spends our money. http://republicanwhip.house.gov/YouCut/ Each week the House Republicans put up 5 proposed spending cuts, things that they think should be immediately cut from the budget. We get to vote on which one we want presented. The winning proposal is submitted directly to Congress for a up or down floor vote, and a list is compiled showing how every member voted.
Check out the site and vote. Each week five new proposals are put up for a vote. You can go back and review the past votes and see for yourself which politicians really want to cut spending, and which ones only talk about it. Check out Ryan's votes. It's really revealing.
We all know that Tim Ryan would never say no to spending other people's money.
So they put up five items they think should be cut immediately and can't seem to muster enough initiative to actually do something about them?
One of five? What about the other four?
If the top vote getter cannot even get done, I think that answers your question on the chances of the other four to be cut.
As expected, Ryan has not voted to cut a dime.
