For over 30 years, radio reigned supreme in homes all across America, and in that time, some of the greatest actors and actresses brought their talents into the studios of the networks and into the homes.
No season was more important than Christmas for radio audiences, and over the years, a number of programs became so beloved that they soon became Christmas traditions.
Two of these programs were the Campbell Playhouse version of A Christmas Carol starring America's most beloved actor, Lionel Barrymore; and the Amos and Andy Christmas Program..
