this is the same store owner that conveniently forgot to inform his atty. allen sinclair that he was charged and convicted of RICO violations so much for open dialogue with client and atty. he hired his own son, who is laid off from stevsal steelmill as security manager of the family store. the owner and son did admit majority of their customers are armed with fire weapons that they fear for their lives, if they call the police and report their gun slinging customers. in fairness they stress they want to be a good neighborhood merchant even though they allow under/over age drinking at their store because they have on premise drinking permit for their gunslinging, gang menacing, and drinking customers but they want to be a good neighbor.

A South Avenue store was facing the loss of its liquor license because of numerous complaints about its operation.  For several years, the police had to respond to between 50-60 calls at this business including many calls originating from the pay phone in the store's parking lot.  Some 911 callers' complaints included loitering, drug dealing, fighting, gang activity and such taking place in front of the store.

How did the store owner solve the problem???

He had the pay phone removed from the parking lot.
