For those who might be interested, someone took the time to create a map of downtown Youngstown that shows all the businesses that were there in 1950, and sells it on eBay.

Both stores were there in the late 1940's and early 1950's.

At the corner, a sign reading: "Lady Orva Hosiery" was uncovered.

When workers recently removed some exterior panels from the Phelps Street side of the Federal Building, this old sign was exposed.  I wonder when the Vogue operated.
