Firemen's Baseball Train Trip

I think one of my co-workers went on one of these as a kid.  He had mentioned it several times, but in the context of how times had changed.

Apparently, they stuffed as many children as they could into each car, and there was only one fireman responsible for all the children in that car.  In addition, the children were given all the candy they could eat.

He is always amused at how they would arrive at the Terminal tower, exit the train, walk to the stadium and back again after the game without losing any kids. ;)

Could someone tell us about the these trips?  Youngstown firemen hosted the annual train trip to a Cleveland Indians baseball game.

Does anyone have pictures from the trips?
