Some time ago, we discussed Max Shagrin the local theater man who went to Hollywood and made good as a theatrical agent. Recently I finally found a good photograph of Max with one of his clients, child actress Jane Withers.

The Shagrin family date far back in the city's theater history as well as in the grocery trade.
