I'm amazed that noone remembers the old ball room. My goodness the top local DJ's use to hold record hops there in the 1950's, especially the DJ's from WHOT and WBBW.

Are any of you familiar with the old Elms Ball Room?

In its hayday it booked in some of the country's biggest dance bands but toward the end, it settled for record hops and a few of the lesser known bands.
