It really was!  As part of a historic preservation class at YSU last year, we were given a guided tour of the Burt Building.  It was quite the establishment during its day.  Lunch counter, upscale dining, and candy/confections factory, all under one roof.  There was a strong emphasis on quality ingredients,sanitation, and good working conditions, as well.
