1. ANNUAL EAST SIDE NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP DAY

WHEN: Saturday, May 8th, 9 a.m. - 12 noon

WHERE: Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of Price Memorial AME Church, 920 Dryden Avenue, to receive instructions, site locations and equipment. Refreshments will be served following the Clean Up in the church basement. Sponsored by the Northeast Homeowners and Concerned Citizens Association.

NOTE: The Northeast Homeowners and Concerned Citizens Association will sponsor the second of three, Eastside Neighborhood Cleanup Days on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Eastside residents of Youngstown, Ohio will be donating their time to help clean up the litter and debris on public walkways, curbs, public green spaces along gateway corridors of Early Road, East High, McGuffey Road, the corners of Early and McCartney Rd. and Oak Street and Lane Avenue. Helping with the clean-up will be local schools, churches, businesses and other organizations. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Only a limited number of rakes and shovels will be available, so if you have any please bring them with you.
