Neighbors Cutting Grass Already

The only reason my neighbor has not cut his grass is because his lawn mower is broken.  Damaged the axle on his riding mower last fall.


I will enjoy the quiet for as long as possible. He cuts his grass 2-3 times a week.

My neighbor started his mower and followed our property line, front to back. Then I thought the mower stalled or ran out of gas because it wasn't running and I saw him pushing it diagonally across his yard. I doubt he had enough time to refill the tank then I heard it running again but slightly farther away. It ran for another minute or so and that was it. I didn't pay any attention but I think the second running was his other neighbor's property line.

FWIW, he could let his grass grow for two weeks and it would still be shorter than mine after I cut it.

Two of my neighbors cut their lawns today.

I guess they will expect me to cut mine now.
