Here is an idea to both put more bread into the city kitty and be Green. A carbon tax on every resident of the city regardless of age.

You take a breath, you get taxed. You cook your supper, you get taxed. You go to school, you get taxed. You keep a doctor appointment, you get taxed. You go to church, you get taxed. You go shopping for groceries, you get taxed.

We could find another community that would go along with the idea, and we could purchase offsets.
