I went to a bank branch this morning.  An older gentleman in front of me ask for $2,000 in $100 bills.  I believe he was giving the $100 bills to grandchildren for Christmas.

The teller said he didn't have that many $100 bills at this time but would some $50 bills also be OK.  The man said yes and left the bank.
