I've noticed that, and most of the spiders are from China and Russia' I just hope that some control can be maintained to bar spammers before this wonderful site goes the way of another local site that has 99.9% spam and .01% actual interested people participating. It won't do me to mention the site but it's a Yahoo Group.

Due to the increased number of registrations from spammers worldwide we are now limiting registration to certain IPs. ................ Very sorry for the inconvenience. We were receiving several hundred registration responses per day and it was difficult to sift through to see who was genuinely  interested in our content.
